I am Pasi Korvonen, the co-founder of the company. I have worked in the aquaculture and marine construction sector for over 30 years and I am a professional lecturer.
My path within aquaculture and marine construction has been long, diverse, and highly practical. By education, I am a fish farmer, an aquaculture specialist (Ichtyologist; Bachelor of Natural Resources), and a vocational teacher.
My professional background includes managing demanding underwater structural inspections, water construction projects, and practical diving operations. Additionally, I have experience working as a developer in research and development (R&D) projects within the aquaculture sector.
In addition to my expertise in aquaculture, I have focused on pedagogical development and professional training. I design and deliver tailored training programs specifically for aquaculture companies and government authorities, helping them develop their production, efficiency, and operational safety.
Over the past 30 years, I have accumulated experience with various fish species and production methods. My expertise covers e.g.:
- Rainbow trout, whitefish, trout, arctic char, salmon, pike perch, grayling and african catfish
- Modern Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), land-based tank / raceway farms, net cage and natural feed pond culture.
In my free time, I prefer to be on the road on a motorcycle, fly-fishing from a canoe, or traveling.
